The Final week of All-Threat brought us some studs at the running back position with each of our top 5 backs(excluding Saquon Barkley who sat out) making either the first or second team. It was a fun season of looking back at the best performances each week, so we took one last crack at it. As always, you can find full Threat Ratings for each position in the Stats Tab of the app.

Threat Ratings Week 18 First Team

QB- Baker Mayfield(3), Tampa Bay: In a win and in scenario for the Bucs, Mayfield put up another strong performance and led Tampa Bay to the #3 seed in the NFC playoffs. Mayfield was 21 of 32 for 221 yards and 2 touchdowns with 1 interception in the victory over the Saints. He also added 9 rushes for 68 yards and led all quarterbacks in scramble Threat for week 18. Mayfield finishes the season with exactly 4500 pass yards which was 3rd in the NFL, to go with 41 passing touchdowns. Mayfield’s season Threat Rating was 85.7, 11th among quarterbacks in 2024.

RB- Jonathan Taylor(2), Indianapolis: Taylor finished the season with a bang, rushing for over 100 yards in each of his last 4 games including a 177 yard performance in week 18 against the Jaguars. He was 2nd on the week in rushing only Threat. Taylor finished the season as the league’s 4th leading rusher only trailing Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry and Bijan Robinson and just ahead of Jahmyr Gibbs. Barkley sat the week out, but the other 4 running backs mentioned all made the All-Threat team in week 18. Taylor finished the season with a 78.4 Threat Rating, good for 15th best in the league at his position.

RB- Bijan robinson(2), Atlanta: Robinson and the Falcons came up just short in a 44-38 overtime loss to the Panthers, but Robinson had 28 carries for 170 yards in the process pushing him to 1,456 on the season, which was 3rd best in the league, although miles behind Barkley and Henry. Although he only caught 2 passes for 3 yards, Bijan led all running back in rushing only Threat for week 18. Robinson finishes the season with a 92.2 Threat Rating, also 3rd among running backs behind Barkley and Henry. He had 80 more carries than a year ago in his rookie campaign and rushed for 4.8 yards per carry, .2 yards better than he did a year ago.

TE- Pat Freiermuth(1), Pittsburgh: The Tight End Threat landscape has been dominated by Trey McBride and George Kittle this season, but we have a couple of first timers on the list in week 18. Freiermuth caught 8 of 11 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers loss to the Bengals. Freiermuth finished the season as the 16th ranked tight end by Threat Rating with a mark of 73.9. Kittle and McBride finished 1-2 with Brock Bowers hot on their heels at number 3.

WR- Quentin Johnston(1), LAC: Another first timer to the 2024 All-Threat teams this week, Johnston caught 13 of 14 targets for 186 yards in the Chargers 34-20 over the Raiders on Sunday. The much maligned 2nd year player somewhat salvaged his season in week 18. The huge performance gave him respectable numbers of 55 receptions for 711 yards on the year. He also scored 8 touchdowns on the season despite his often inconsistent play. His season long 69.5 Threat Rating ranked him 54th among receivers for the season.

WR- Drake London(3), Atlanta: London capped the best campaign of his 3-year career with 10 receptions for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss to the Panthers. He finished the season with 1,271 receiving yards which was 4th best in the NFL. He pulled in a whopping 29.2 percent target share for the season emerging as a clear cut number 1 for the Falcons. His 82.3 season Threat Rating was 10th best among receivers in 2024.

WR- Jakobi Meyers(3), Las Vegas: Meyers capped an impressive season with 9 receptions for 123 yards on just 10 targets in week 18. He also added a touchdown in the loss to the Chargers. It was also Meyers first 1000-yard season of his career, made possible by him stepping into a bigger role after the trade of Davante Adams. He finished the year with an 82.5 Threat Rating, which was 8th best among wide receivers in 2024.
